Project
...is a charitable organisation
set up to provide aid and relief in any form possible to the war-stricken
area surrounding Waterloo Village
near Freetown, Sierra
Leone.
"WVCP aims
to empower the people of Waterloo Village to create a socially just and
sustainable community through developing partnerships which preserve,
respect and promote the culture and heritage of the Waterloo
Village whilst fostering the
community spirit within Cardiff."
During the 1990's a rebel uprising
left thousands dead or horrifically mutilated and without basic provisions
like electricity and running water! For a more detailed description of what

There is a shortage of all the
basics that we take for granted. Please help us to help a village help themselves.

overwhelmed with donations of goods since we began collecting last year.
Thank you so much. We still desperately need items listed below:
- general medical supplies
- walking sticks/frames
- children’s books
- garden/household tools eg.
fork/spade, pick-axe hammer, chisels, nails, screwdrivers,
screws/bolts etc.
